Start with what the viewer should be able to answer after one watch. A topic such as “skyscrapers” is too broad. A question such as “Why are skyscrapers designed to move?” defines the problem and makes it easier to decide which facts belong.
If the script must explain what something is, how it works, why it matters, and its complete history, split the subject into separate videos.

Write the answer before the hook.
Write the central answer in one plain sentence before drafting the introduction. It does not have to become the opening line. It acts as the standard for the rest of the script.
Every fact should help the viewer understand that sentence. Useful detail stays; unrelated detail moves to another video.

A reliable explainer follows a visible chain: establish the problem, introduce the constraint, explain the mechanism, and end with the result. This order gives technical information a reason to appear.
The pattern works for software, finance, science, products, and current events. The subject changes; the logic stays clear.

Assign a visual job to every beat.
The visual should clarify the spoken claim, not merely occupy the screen. Use an exterior for scale, a diagram for structure, and a close view for the mechanism.
If a line is difficult to show accurately, simplify the line before reaching for generic footage.
