Turn a Reddit-style story into a complete editable video.

The production began with original story text pasted into the script composer. No Reddit URL was imported, and no thread was scraped. The script supplies the spoken narration and the sequence of events Shortsly turns into scenes.

“I had been paying my roommate $1,200 every month, thinking we split the rent equally.”

AI image generation was enabled, so Shortsly created 15 images from the script. The generated sequence moves from the envelope and rent payment to a phone call, a rent ledger, and the confrontation. A selected library background ties the 19 timeline scenes together.

This run used no photo uploads, no gameplay footage, and no custom instructions. It still produced a scene-specific image sequence rather than a generic loop behind the captions.

Alex was selected before generation. Shortsly returns to the AI avatar between illustrated scenes, giving the video a recognizable human presence without turning every scene into a talking head. Alex supplies the recurring visual; Bilbop supplies the narration.

The visual setup used a 9:16 canvas, Cartoon image style, and Fast edit pace. No style preset or custom instructions were added. Narration used Custom Bilbop with Eleven v3 and the Natural stability setting.

The recorded charge for this run was 37 credits for the 725-character voiceover, 15 credits for AI video planning, and 300 credits for 15 generated images. These are the recorded figures for this project, not a fixed per-video price.
